The Dub Pistols, a London-based dub/big beat band, were formed in 1996 by Barry Ashworth. 
He brought together John King (guitarist), Jason O'Bryan (bassist), T.K. Lawrence (vocals), Jack Cowens (drums), and Steeve Hunt (mixing desk). 
The band is known for numerous collaborations with artists such as Terry Hall (The Specials), James Dewes Sheffield (JMS), and Rodney P.Their musical style is a true journey, oscillating between dub, hip-hop, big beat, ska, reggae, and even punk. 
Each album, and even each song, offers a new musical direction.
